Dominic Old

Dominic Old is a leading portrait and equine photographer based in Fisherton Mill in Salisbury. He specialises in portraits and headshots of adults, children and horses. He is known for his natural eye behind the lens and spending as much time on producing quality images as he does in photographing.

I love to shoot in black and white and go on location to the park, beach, countryside, street, stable, home or back garden. I travel anywhere including London, Winchester, Oxford, as far west as Bristol, Bath and down to the South Coast to Poole, Lambourn, Bournemouth and across to Portsmouth.

A number of my photographs are in the National Portrait Gallery collections. These include portraits of Patrick Moore, Tony Benn, Evelyn Glennie and George Cole, to name but a few. I graduated from Central Saint Martins with an MA. Most of my work is done with natural light to bring out the character of the sitter in association with their environment.
